The plot links two streets of different dimensions. The thickness of the block requires the positioning of two courtyards at the centre of the project, which are extensions and responses to the small courtyards of the adjacent voids.
The typical plan proposes three accommodations which dispose, through the courtyards’ presence, of views, multiple orientations, and natural illumination for secondary rooms.
The punctual concrete structure allows the envisaging of all possible evolutions for the typologies. The façade is built in a precast wooden skeleton and then filled with hemp concrete. On the Marx Dormoy street side, it questions the tradition of the Parisian thick façade and proposes extensions of the living rooms beside the public space through large loggias.
