The Chaperon Vert district is designed by TVK for SADEV94. The plot’s trapezoidal geometry is the result of the intersection between a diagonal road and a system of parallel strips.
The building’s footprint saturates and extrudes the totality of the available surface on seven levels, and this operation confers an intrinsically monumental character to the building.
The regular facades repeat a single window for reasons of economy, and in order not to propose a privileged orientation for the building. The four angles are marked by over-sized loggias that achieve the dimensions of a room. Thus, they offer some significant extensions to all the living spaces located inside the accommodations.
The building is made of rough concrete covered by a white wood stain that reveals the built material and which affirms the regularity of the project.
