The transformation of an apartment in the heart of the historic Marais district starts by the stripping back of the existing structural elements. The project then consists in the addition of thick wooden structures, which partition and texture the new spaces of the apartment. Each of them finds a specific function – wardrobe, library, office, storage – but correspond to the same architectural and constructional principle for all situations.
